My favourite in the series so far is still The Horse and His Boy. But, as with all the other books in the series, there is still something
quite special about Prince Caspian. I didn't feel the need to get my highlighter out at all to draw attention to some profound quote, but there was an overall deep sense of truth about human nature that I found very thought provoking. Susan's apology to Lucy once she can see Aslan makes me think about how easy it is to run from the truth when we think it might mean something difficult for us.
I love reading about all of these flawed characters and I can't wait to have amazing deep discussions with my daughter as we read through the series together, thinking about human nature, grace, sinfulness and what God is like.
