better than twilight. nuff said.
No? Ok, I'll say some more. I couldn't believe just how believable this book was. Meyer has brilliantly constructed an entire new species of creature with interesting back-story, and strangely mysterious motives and means for survival. It's almost as if it isn't a sci-fi at all because it's all just to human, too real. It makes you think... if our world really was invaded by aliens... what would we do? How would we react? What would the world look like? It wouldn't look like a hollywood blockbuster movie... it would probably look just like it does now.
I'll admit that some of the stories of Wanda's past were a little much for me (some very creative types of planets out there) though they were easy to skim through and get back to the action and emotion.
I loved it even more the second time.
