I almost stopped half way through with this one. There was a gap of like 8 months or so where I didn't read any at all. It just lost me and was too hard work.
The second half of the book though, just got increasingly better. I don't know how the authors could have constructed the book to make it more appealing right the way through, or maybe it was just the state of mind I was in when I first started reading it. But the last half of the book went a lot quicker and was very fast paced and engaging, unravelling layers of mystery you don't even realise are there.
As with most christian-fiction supernatural spin books this one was a little strange and didn't quite hit the nail on the head somehow... but it was still a very interesting idea and I suppose that's what it's all about.
