While there's nothing completely revolutionary in this book, it's so well structured and put together with all the helpful advice that we, as wives, can so often choose to ignore. Each chapter was a manageable step towards opening communication and creating intimacy with my husband. Above everything it helped to remind me that I always have the strength to be encouraging in my marriage because my strength and value comes from Christ, and not my husband. That's a very easy thing to forget and it can be debilitating.I would recommend this book to all wives, old or new. It's filled with so much practical advice and spiritual encouragement. It's a great book to read with a friend so you can encourage each other and keep each other accountable.
